For four consecutive years, Charity Navigator has awarded Communities In Schools of Jacksonville a four star rating for fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency. During the Charity Navigator’s twelve year history, CIS Jax has been awarded four out of four stars nine times.
“Only 17% of the charities we rate have received at least 2 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Communities In Schools of Jacksonville outperforms most other charities in America. This “exceptional” designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Communities In Schools of Jacksonville from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust,” said Charity Navigator President & CEO, Ken Berger in a letter sent to CEO, Jon Heymann.
Charity Navigator is the nations largest charity evaluation that examines charities based on their financial health and their accountability & transparency. The ratings give donors insight as to how efficiently a non-profit may use their donation or gift.
Communities In Schools National and CIS Jax are the only two CIS affiliates listed on the site to receive a four out of four star rating this year.
